In recent years, Polish agri‑food products have been gaining increasing popularity in foreign markets. The year 2025 was another record year for Polish food exports, as the value of agri‑food goods sold abroad reached 58.4 billion EUR (i.e., 248 billion PLN), which was 8.6% higher than the year before. The positive trade balance increased by 10.2% and amounted to 19.8 billion EUR (i.e., 84 billion PLN).
EU markets still hold the largest share in exports, but the importance of North Africa and the Middle East is growing.

The legal status of advertising alcoholic beverages is widely discussed both in courtrooms and in the corridors of the Parliament. Is there such a thing as legal advertising of alcoholic beverages? What is the dominant line of case law? What should be taken into account
In the presentation “Advertising of alcoholic beverages – current regulations, upcoming changes, and court case law” we will outline: the current legal status of the advertising and promotion of alcoholic beverages, the proposed amendments to the Act on Upbringing in Sobriety and Counteracting Alcoholism, and the key theses of recent court rulings that affect the risks associated with marketing activities.

The debate will be a practical compendium of knowledge for entrepreneurs in the HoReCa sector who want to consciously prepare for obtaining EU funds in the new 2026+ perspective.
Experts will discuss available forms of support – from training and advisory services to investments in the development of gastronomy businesses – and explain who can apply for funding and under what conditions. During the panel, the following topics will be covered, among others:
14:50–15:10
Cooperation with a staffing agency is not only a matter of convenience – it is a strategic business decision that directly impacts a company’s financial performance. During the conference, we will discuss how HR outsourcing enables companies to free up internal resources, reduce administrative costs, and focus on their core business areas. We will show how to measure return on investment when working with a staffing agency and what benefits this solution brings to companies across various industries.
15:10–15:50
The winner is not the one who sells the most — but the one who best controls the numbers at high scale and low margin.
Your company can grow… and at the same time lose money if you earn little per unit but operate at huge volumes, so an error multiplied by 1,000 becomes a financial disaster.
Based on a case study, we will show how to move from a situation where finance serves only an administrative function — to a model in which it becomes a real management tool.
We will explain how to organize data, processes, and accounting so that you can analyze profitability at the level of products, customers, and sales channels — that is, where profit is actually created or lost.
We will place special emphasis on how to manage cash flow and working capital in an environment of large scale and deferred payments, where sales growth often simultaneously means a greater need for cash.
15:50–16:10
The potential of industrial hemp in the production of functional food, its nutritional value, and the development trends of the hemp food market in Europe.
This presentation explores the scientific foundation of industrial hemp as a functional food ingredient, with a specific focus on hemp tea. It will examine the bioactive compounds found in hemp, what is actually extracted during water infusion, and how these components fit within modern nutritional science.
In addition, the session will address safety, regulatory clarity, and the growing market demand for sustainable, plant-based functional beverages in Europe. The goal is to provide both scientific insight and practical market perspective for producers and distributors interested in hemp-based products.
10:30–11:00
11:00–11:20
At the WorldFood Poland exhibition, he will discuss the new legal requirements regarding the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in ready‑to‑eat (RTE) food, analyzing their practical impact on the daily operations of production facilities.
11:20–11:40
Can a refrigeration system reduce the use of fossil fuels in a logistics facility? A case study of the Transgourmet Foodservice center in Gliwice shows that it can.
NARS Polska designed and implemented a CO₂-based system that simultaneously freezes, cools, and heats a 19,200 m² facility – using only electricity. Thanks to full heat recovery and a heat pump, the installation covers 100% of the demand for heating and hot water, eliminating gas and significantly reducing operating costs.
The system automatically operates in heat pump mode when cooling demand is lower, ensuring year-round energy self-sufficiency.
The entire setup is supported by intelligent real-time control, and the project was designed with future expansion in mind, without the need for costly upgrades. This is an example of how modern refrigeration becomes a source of business advantage – not just a cost.
11:40–12:50
Achieving net climate neutrality by 2050 remains a goal of the European Union. Its achievement will require efforts across the entire economy, including entities operating within the food production chain. Although, in response to the international situation and internal protests, the EU has softened or delayed the implementation of some requirements, in autumn 2025 it also adopted an ambitious target of a 90% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2040. In industry, this is to be achieved through the electrification of technological processes, phasing out fossil fuels, and improving energy efficiency.
During the debate, participants will share their views on the possibilities and methods of implementing these goals by Polish food processing companies. Good examples of actions undertaken by Polish enterprises in the field of electrification and decarbonization will be presented, along with an attempt to answer the most important questions related to this process. Are there technologies available that can support the electrification of technological processes in an economically viable way? Which actions should be taken first, and which can wait? How should these activities be financed? Does the government have instruments to support the sector’s transition processes? Should actions be implemented now, or is there still time to wait?
The debate will also present recommendations on the necessary actions by public authorities in Poland that will help maintain the competitiveness of Polish agri-food processing companies in the process of adapting to EU objectives.

Connected with refrigeration since 2006 – and with CO₂ technology since the days when most specialists looked at 100‑bar pressure with slight disbelief (and well‑deserved respect). It was Tomasz who, together with his team, built one of the first CO₂ installations in Poland for the Biedronka chain and trained dozens of service crews, proving that “it’s doable – and without smoke coming out of anyone’s ears.”
Tomasz is known for skillfully combining an innovative approach with practical thinking and technical precision. In his projects, he consistently seeks solutions that increase efficiency – both energy and operational. Heat recovery has been a standard feature of his installations for many years, allowing the system’s potential to be fully utilized.
Tomasz has gone through the entire technical path – from construction assistant, to installer, designer, advisor, and now co‑managing NARS Polska. Today he not only advises, designs, and supports clients, but also proves that CO₂ is not only an ecological but also an economical choice – especially in the long run.
