The global f&b market came together at WorldFood Poland 2022!

The biggest food&beverage exhibition in Poland, WorldFood Poland, took place on 5-7th April 2022 in EXPO XXI Warsaw. 8th edition of WorldFood Poland has integrated the whole industry in one place with great success!

Despite the current political situation and other obstacles this edition has turned out to be very successful one, gathering 250 Exhibitors from 25 countries and 9 National Pavilions: Italy, Spain, Tunisia, South Korea, Ukraine, Mazovian District, Thailand, Greece, Sri Lanka. Despite the geopolitical situation, Ukrainian entrepreneurs were present at the fair looking for new opportunities for their businesses. During three days we hosted more than 5 thousands of Professional Visitors representing mainly wholesale, distribution, import, export, retail sales, food production and HoReCa.

The conference program of this edition focused on the current situation of the agri-food sector in Poland, Europe and the whole world as well as on the newest trends shaping the industry and its’ future. During the inaugural debate industry experts  discussed about the real impact of the Russia-Ukraine conflict on food security in Poland and Europe. The experts agreed that Poland is safe when it comes to food production or distribution, but the price increases is inevitable and the most important  now is to try to limit these increases. The show was filled by conferences and debates with the presence of experts from polish institutions, associations and companies as well as international analyst representatives specializing in food industry. Also the culinary workshops of the best chefs, as well as the Pizza Academy program were available on the Bellavita – Italian Pavilion.

Besides conferences and debates that gave better view on the current situation and problems of the FMCG sector, WorldFood Poland is an extensive overview of food products presented on stands. Among others we have selected the best products of this edition.

As every year, the exhibition was accompanied by a Gold Medal Competition, in which the Jury tested 153 submitted products. Gold Medals was awarded to 10 products in various categories, and additionally 6 products were awarded a special prize.

Jarosław Uściński – the President of the Association of Chefs and Confectioners.

In cooperation with NGO – SOS Food Bank in Warsaw, on the last day of the fair we organized a food collection for the Ukrainian refugees. Our Exhibitors donated 700 kg of food products for Ukraine. Thank you! #standswithUkraine

Next edition of WorldFood Poland will take place on 18-20th April 2023, traditionally at EXPO XXI Warsaw.
