Italy and Poland are profoundly tied not only by excellent relations between their respective peoples, but increasingly also in terms of business. The strategic co-operation between WorldFood Poland and Bellavita Expo – now on its 7th year – proves the big enthusiasm and attention that the Polish F&B market has towards Italian quality products.
Bellavita Expo is the international company organising nine leading shows dedicated to the promotion of Italian food and drinks in the world – in partnership with Cibus.
The Bellavita Pavilion – located at Hall 1 of WorldFood Poland – has always been one of the most anticipated attractions of the fair, with over 600 F&B products showcased by 50 Italian exhibitors for a fantastic combination of big brand, companies that are already imported into Poland, and innovative gems never seen before outside Italy, all ready for the local retail and Horeca sectors.
Amongst the authentically Italian products on display, fresh pasta, products based on truffles, extra-virgin olive oil, fine tuna, mortadella, parmigiano, burrata, artisan panettone, coffee, as well as premium wines showcased in the dedicated Wine Exhibition Area.
On top of that, Bellavita has recently been expanded its range to the Mediterranean basin as a selection of Spanish delicacies such as jamón, goat cheese and Majorcan gin will be also presented thanks to the co-operation with Ibérica Expo.
To deliver the highest quality of the show, Bellavita works in co-operation with the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Poland, which co-organises the Bellavita Awards competition, where all the Italian products on display compete for the Best Italian Product award. The products will be evaluated by a panel of 150 VIP Judges selected amongst all the F&B professionals attending the fair, who will have the opportunity of tasting and scoring the F&B products directly at their producers’ booths.
Registration as a VIP Judge is open, and all F&B professionals can apply by sending an email to the Bellavita Awards Director Enrico Longobucco at elongobucco@bellavita.com.
Finally, the organisers confirm the presence of Bellavita Academy – a must for all the visitors seeking for in-depth educational seminars explaining the Italian products on display, but also for those who want to attend entertaining cooking shows and guided wine tastings over the three days of the fair. This year, special attention will be paid to healthy food choices as well as gluten-free and lactose-free diets.
The programme of Bellavita Academy is organised in co-operation with the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Poland, Emiliano Castagna of the Włoska Akademia Kulinarna, the sommeliers of Winicjatywa and the association of professional Italian chefs in Poland ‘Federazione Italiana Cuochi’ chaired by Anuelo Serra.
The visit to Bellavita Pavilion at Hall 1 is included in every WorldFood Poland ticket and is warmly recommended to all the food, wine and beverage professionals looking for innovative products to attract consumers’ attention and increase sales.
