In response to the enormous potential of the plant-based food category on the food market recently and the great interest of exhibitors and visitors, a new sector dedicated to this category will be launched during 9th edition of WorldFood Poland.

New sector with plant based

Following this trend, the organizers decided to introduce a new product category, making it easier for industry visitors – representatives of purchasing and category management departments in retail chains, owners and managers of food companies, investors and mentors to find products from this category among a wide range of exhibitors. The plant zone will include products such as: plant-based meat and cold meat substitutes, plant-based drinks and vegan cheeses, plant-based sandwich spreads, vegan ice cream, sweets and snacks, and egg substitutes. Their participation in the plant-based zone has already been confirmed by: Roeper, OneDayMore, VegeSmak, Medifoods and Veganz.

A chance to stand out in the market

During last year’s edition of the Gold Medal Award during WorldFood Poland, the jurors -experts from the FMCG industry and decision makers from retail chains appreciated the plant product of one of the exhibitors. In the Innovation category the Jury awarded vegetable meatballs with red onion and thyme produced by OneDayMore. Taking part in the Gold Medal is an excellent opportunity to present your products directly to professionals who decide to buy online and thus increase your chances of selling in retail chains.
